With every central control system sold, Rain Bird Services goes onsite and ensures your system operates to manufacturer’s specifications. Need factory advice on installing your system? Rain Bird Services can give you peace of mind on a problem-free central control system installation.
Installed System Evaluation
We’ll provide an on-site assessment of your central control equipment and satellites and give you a detailed report not only on the condition of your system, but also a punch-list of any required repairs to restore your system to full functionality.
Central Control Programming
Need help setting-up, maintaining and troubleshooting your central control system? We’ll provide program-writing and database initialization services to maximize your Central Control system for efficient irrigation including ETbased/ Flow Managed irrigation. Need help in FreedomPad programming and operation? No problem.
Board Repair
Often, printed circuit boards can be repaired at a cost savings compared to the cost of a new replacement. We’ll give you a repair cost you can count on. The evaluation fee is free if you decide to repair your board.
Board Exchange
If repairing a defective board means downtime you can’t afford and you want more cost effective pricing than buying new, sign up for Board Exchange. We’ll draw from our onhand inventory, replace your board, and get you up and running usually within one business day.
On-Site Training
Let Rain Bird Services train your new operators. We also offer yearly refresher training.

We’ll visually inspect ground rods and ground wireconnections, perform a “Megging” or electrical test of the grounding capacity for each rod or rod group, and verify your grounding system meets National Electric Code.

Weather Station Service

We offer multiple service plans to maintain your Weather Station to factory specifications. We check the weather station hardware and operation including the communication wire path, grounding grid resistance, weather station software communication and all wire connections. Our 26-point examination also includes the relative humidity/temperature probe, wind speed sensors, and solar radiation sensor. You get a complete report on your weather station with every service. For our Service Plus customers, we replace the relative humidity sensor and recalibrate the solar radiation sensor at no additional cost.
