Rain Bird Services Corporation offers two communication methods for Centrol Controls not available through Rain Bird Corporation

900 Mhz Spread Spectrum Radios
  • No license required
  • Can be used for IQ primary communication and Maxicom primary and secondary communication900 Mhz Spread Spectrum Radio
  • Up to 5 miles line of sight
  • Can be configured with repeaters to extend network distance

 

Ethernet Device Servers
  • Utilizes existing LANs (local area networks), WANS (wide area networks) and the Internet
  • Can be used for IQ primary communication, SiteControl primary and secondary, and Maxicom primary and secondary communicationEthernet Device Server
  • Can take the place of telephone modems; no monthly line fees
  • Available in both wired and wireless configurations; compatible with fiber optic networks
