EPA WaterSense®

WaterSense® is a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) designed to drive the market for water-efficient products and services.

  • In the area of landscape irrigation, WaterSense labels certification programs that include a strong water efficiency component. The Rain Bird Academy  has earned the WaterSense label.
  • Irrigation professionals certified through The Rain Bird Certified Residential & Light Commercial Installer Program are eligible to become WaterSense irrigation partners, which allows you to distinguish yourself from the competition by making a commitment to water efficiency. Irrigation partners can use the WaterSense partner logo with your name, but not the name of your company.
  • When you pass the certification exam, becoming a WaterSense partner is as simple as completing the partnership agreement on the WaterSense Web site and submitting it to EPA along with a copy of your certificate.
