What is a Rain Bird Certified Irrigation Professional?

A Rain Bird Certified Residential & Light Commercial Installer is someone:

• who has successfully demonstrated the appropriate skills to install an irrigation system.
• who has passed a rigorous test on irrigation installation. 
• who has taken irrigation industry courses and is committed to do so on an ongoing basis.
• who has at least three year of industry knowledge.
• who has a minimum of 1200 hours of practical knowledge in irrigation installation.
• who has agreed to abide by a code of ethical behavior.

A Rain Bird Certification is not:

1. A Rain Bird Certification is awarded only to individuals, they are not awarded to a company.
2. Installations done by a Rain Bird Certified individual are not approved, guaranteed, warranted or indorsed by Rain Bird Corporation or Rain Bird Services Corporation. 
3. A certification is not transferable to another person, only the person who has completed all of the requirements of the Rain Bird Certification can be called Rain Bird Certified.
4. A Rain Bird Certified individual is not an agent, employee, franchisee, partner, joint venture or legal representative of Rain Bird Corporation or Rain Bird Services Corporation.
5. Rain Bird Corporation and Rain Bird Services Corporation assume no responsibility or liability for the work or statements of any Rain Bird Certified individual.
6. A Rain Bird Certified individual is not authorized to use the name "Rain Bird" or other Rain Bird trademarks or service marks except as may be expressly authorized by the certification program.
7. A Rain Bird certified individual may not make any statements, including in any advertising or marketing materials, that are contrary to the foregoing.
